These are both made from 3/16" CPM 154CM heat treated, deep cryo. treated and triple tempered per Crucibles in specifications, resulting in a Rockwell hardness of 61-62C. Edited to add pictures of 08206 in the sheath

I forgot about the 10 picture limit. See "Forgot about the picture limit" thread for 08206 in the sheath.
Thanks!

Now those look like fun knives to make. Very creative design Jim! Do you draw your designs first or just let things fall into place while you are grinding?

Thanks for the nice comments guys!

GL Drew...Some of both, thses I drew first for a potential customer and they purchased one of each and I made a second one of each while I was at it only difference is the ones they took were polished with wood handles. I always know what I am after whether I draw it out or not. What about you...I enjoy looking at your work.

God Bless!

received my fighter the other day a very impressive knife very pleasant transaction thanks again

Thanks Buckman, glad you were pleased!

Well I'm back from vacation and if anyone is interested in 08206, I am available to make a transaction. If you are interested, I would consider any reasonable offers via email or PM...not on here please.
Thanks,
Jim

Welcome back; hope you are well rested from the vacation. I usually have a basic idea of the knife I want to make when I start out. I keep about a dozen basic patterns in templates which are traced out on the steel and then I do some creative cutting and grinding from there. It's amazing how removing even as little as 1/8 inch of steel will change the whole character of a knife.

I have a couple of Jim's neck knives & his work is outstanding. He's also a great guy to deal with......you won't be disappointed.
