I have been building two fighters, at a time, for about a year. [six pairs] I try to build them as close to mirror images as I can. I enjoy the challenge.
I sold the first one, of this set, on the forum last month.
This fighter sports a forged 52100 bearing steel blade. 81/4" [triple tempered]
The guard is forged wrought iron that is "acid copper" etched then flash heat blued.
The handle is stabilized Red Mallee' [Aust.] with copper x red and black fiber spacers.
The red insert is from a section of Brunswick bowling ball. "It is opalesent in the sunlight".
The OAL of this knife is 13 1/2"
This knife comes with a leather sheath. [Inlaid & sculpted]
