Hand ground from Aldo's 1095 high carbon steel.
Three normalizing cycles, austenitized, quenched, tempered.
Flat grind then convexed behind the edge to reduce food stickage.
Blade has a belt finish at 400.
The handle is hand finished at 1000 in a octagonal shape.
The edge was taken to a 6000 wetstone then stropped.

Thickness behind edge: .012
