2 Propane forge project and some pictures

This is the link to my other post with some more pictures of my forge fired up.

Here are some pictures of the forge after I drilled some large holes by the end of the burner! It helped a little bit but I still need to do some more work to the forge! It now sounds like a V2 rocket aka the buzz bombs!

I can get 1500 f in a kiln similiar to your small one with a the benzomatic torch with fire bricks closing the front. My issue now is connecting the torch (bottle type) to a larger propane bottle. Any one know of some fittings??

Not to nit pick, but the V-1, not the V-2, was nicknamed the "Buzz Bomb" because of it's pulse jet engine:

Aaaaahhhhhhh, I thought the V2 had a pulse jet engine also. Oh well, my forge sounds like a mini angry pulse jet engine with an extrmemly rapid pulse/firing.




I'm thinking about putting a 2" circular hole in the back of the forge.

with a ceramic tile on the floor do you lay the piece directly on the tile or on a small rack of somekind?

I layed a thicker layer of satanite on the floor to handle the abuse! I still have to put the ITC-100 in which I will do after I cut the hole in the back of the forge!
