Hello guys , I would like to offer you these two puukkos, one is carbon steel and the other - Elmax. The carbon steel blade is thicker. Anything else is almost the same - birch bark handle with brass fittings and peened tang. The birch bark has a nice and warm feel and provides very good traction with the hand even when it's wet. They fit tightly in their sheaths.
Puukko #1
Steel – 1.2519 (similar to hitachi blue 2) 60-61 HRC.
OAL - 231 mm (~9.1").
Blade - 111Х23Х5mm (~4.4x0.9x0.2") rhomboid grind.
Blade finish - p 800.
Handle – Birch bark and brass .
Leather sheath with wooden inlay.
Weight with/without sheath - 123/172 grams.
