Got a few "junk drawer" knives laying around over here, looking to trade for a newer (80's or newer) Case usin' knife, like a carbon steel delrin handled jack knife or similar.
Left to right:
1. Remington R672, slick black handles, small blade is broken, large blade is OK but has small nick in blade midway up. Master blade stamp is faint, but small blade stamp is clear Remington UMC stamp. Decent snap both ways. Was going to rip it apart and remove the small blade and spring, but figured I'd let someone else mess with it. Beautiful serpentine pattern small jack. This is the pick of the litter, here but read on for more
2. Frame from a jigged bone Remington whittler. Not 100% sure of pattern number. Master blade is gone. Two small blades are broken. One small blade opens to show Remington UMC stamp. The springs, liners, hanldes, shields, spacer are all good. If you're looking for Remington whittler parts, this is the knife.
3. Kent NY two blade jack - shield is missing, blades are dark but fairly full. Pretty much good for parts.
4. German made - "US Knife Company" - super beat up. No springs, two blade tangs with a sliver of a blade each. Shield is nice small crest, 1 NS bolster missing.
5. modern China made all metal utility style knife. Advertising "Select Mortgage Corporation http://www.selectamortgage.com" - basically new condition. A good tacklebox or glove box knife.
6. Unmarked two blade lobster. Brass handles. Blades snap nice. Could be a nice little key chain knife with a little work - handles and bail
I'm looking to let these go for a modern Case factory knife, preferably a good user for EDC. Could be a pen-knife, small stockman, mini-copperhead lockback, etc. - just something I can carry day to day.
