I have two skinners finished that I'm offering for sale before Christmas. They are both 1/8" D2.

One has a Bois D'arc handle with brass Corby bolts and the other has natural micarta with stainless corby bolts. Both knives come with a hand stitched leather pouch type sheath made by me.

The price on these knives is $115 each + $5 shipping.

Payment may be made by money order, cashiers check, or by paypal. The knife will be shipped within 2 business days after payment is recieved (most likely one day but to be safe I will say 2).

If you have any questions please feel free to contact me and I will try to answer them as promptly as possible.

The first "I'll take it" gets it.

Thank you,
Shawn S.

Mike, thank you for the compliment and I apologize for not posting dimensions. I intended to but sometimes I have those "doh!" moments.

Blade length (measured from tip to front of handle) is 3 1/8", overall length is 6 3/4".

Here is a picture of the knife in hand. For some reason my meathook of a hand makes knives look small. Although this is a relatively smallish blade I have carried one for many years while hunting and it has always been enough blade for what I do.

Again, any questions are welcomed.

On the edge, thank you. I do my own heat treating. I really like the performance of the D2 and enjoy working with it.

If you go to this link:

I show some abuse testing I did on a D2 blade that I'm working on.

I apologize for not posting all of this information in the original post. I'm trying to learn. Thank you all for being patient with me.

Shawn is great to deal with.
A real good ole' boy.
I bought one of these for a buddy of mine a few days before the start of deer season as a gift.

I spoke with Shawn over the phone about getting it shipped in time for the hunting season and he sent it the very next day, before he even received my USPSMO, that was above and beyond than what I expected, plus this knife is a great little skinner for deer sized game.

My buddy had to pry it out of my hands when I gave it to him.:p

He's skinned/dressed a couple of hogs and a deer with it thus far and really likes the ergonomics and design of this blade.

If I wasn't so strapped right now I'd take the one with the natural micarta scales.:o

Charlie, great to hear the hunt went well. I was actually thinking about your hunt just a little bit ago and almost sent you an e-mail to ask. Also thank you for the kind words.

Mick, thank you also.

Shawn, when I get some more scratch together could you make one of these for me with a SS lined lanyard hole?

Charliedontsurf, absolutely. Just let me know when your ready and I'll get it done up. Right now my turnaround on orders is 6-8 weeks but I'm REALLY hoping to get caught up in the next few weeks.

Here are a couple more pictures of these knives with a tape measure to hopefully give a better idea of their size. I have had a couple of requests in reference to measurements so this should answer those.

Since so many other makers have been in the Christmas spirit and reducing prices I figured I'd give that a try.

Either knife pictured for $100 even and I will cover the shipping. I will ship as soon as I possibly can if paypal is used or within one business day if money order or cashiers check is used.

Thank you for looking,
Shawn S.
