Hey everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the fall weather. It is still summer here in South Texas, temps reached 90°F today. No thank you. There is a cool front coming Sunday, and I cannot wait. Meanwhile, I have a few knives to offer.

Knife # 1 Hex Creek Hunter

After making some smaller hunting knives for a client, I really like the shorter blade. You really don't need much for processing game here in America. This one is in my favorite steel, CPM 10V, with a custom in house heat treatment using "cryo" quench and triple tempers. The spine is thin, 3/32". The blade has a full flat grind terminating in a VERY thin edge, and has a hand rubbed finish. The handle is black micarta, also hand polished. Talk about light weight! It locks right into my hand, and my wife really like how it felt in her smaller hands. Sharpening was done with diamond plates and stones for a hair whittling edge. 10V really holds an edge a long long time and is a perfect steel when wear resistance is needed.

OAL: 6 1/2"
Blade: 2 1/2"
Handle: 4"
Steel: Crucible CPM 10V 65HRC
Thickness: 0.083"
Edge: 15° per side 5 micron
Price: $250 (kydex sheath and free USA shipping)

Knife # 3 Stuart Davenport personal hunter

I made this for myself a handful of years ago and it has seen quite the use on central TX whitetail deer. I have not sharpened it since I made it, and it still shaves hair with extreme ease. It will get a fresh apex once sold. Keen obsevers might notice the lack of a maker's mark! When I made it, I wasn't ever planning on selling it, and I knew who made it, so never bothered. But I will get my mark etched on the blade prior to shipping. After messing around with smaller knives like the ones listed above, I figured I would let this one go to someone who will probably use it more than I do, and make myself a smaller version down the road. The design is loosely based on one of Benchmade's fixed blade hunters, Saddle Mountain or something like that. Featuring CPM-10V steel with a custom in house heat treatment using "cryo" and triple tempers for a hardness of 65HRC. The spine is quite thin, it has jimping in a couple strategic locations, blaze orange g10 handles, black liners and pins, and a lanyard tube. The blade has a full flat grind, a hand rubbed finish, and very thin edge geometry. Sharpening was done on diamond plates and stones and is just stupid sharp, even after processing a handful of Central Texas game. I never thought I would sell it, but I found some really thin K-390, which is almost identical to 10V, and I'll make a smaller version of this knife with some walnut pants, going for super super lightweight. Meanwhile, I know someone out there will get a real kick out of using this knife. The steel's performance, with a great heat treat, just blew me away. I'm sure it will blow you away as well!

OAL: 8 1/2"
Blade: 4"
Handle: 4 1/2"
Steel: Crucible CPM 10V 65HRC
Thickness: 0.072"
Edge: 15° per side 5 micron
Price: sold (kydex sheath and free shipping)

Knife does come with kydex sheath. I make the sheath once the knife is purchased. Paypal preferred (samuraistuart@yahoo.com). Generally, the first person to send PP gets the knife. If you are interested, I recommend posting something like, "I'll take it! Funds sent." and sending payment immediately. No need to ask if it's still available. If there is ever a conflict, which hasn't happened yet, I will refund your PP immediately. I also take Venmo, DM me for the address, it's my wife's account and I forget the address. All knives come with free shiping in the USA and a lifetime unconditional warranty. I'll repair or replace, pretty much no matter what. Just understand that I like to use thin stock, thin grinds, and temper most steels for a slightly harder blade than you might be used to. I highly advise do not try to cut throught nails, bone, frozen food, or stab a car door, things like that. Just use it to cut stuff, like it was intended. If you have any questions, send me an email or DM me. Email is same as the PP address. Thanks for looking!
