2 things I hate

1. Buying something I have never seen in real life.
2. Buying something online from a company I have never worked with before.

Sunday night I did both at one time. I will reveal the the seller and the product after the product arrives.

So far the seller has exceeded my expectations, great follow up, order confirmation, a tracking number, as well as an invitation to contact them if I have any questions or concerns. I hate buying online. It may be possible that this company restored my faith in customer service. ETA is tomorrow, so this guy is not slacking on the busiest shipping week of the year.

Most first time buyers feel this way. The knife community, especially this form 99% of the time you are going to be a happy camper after the knife arrives. Do some research on the seller check the feedback.
 
Turned out great! I got my knife today. First I must say, I would and most likely will buy from the-knife-connection.com again. Communication was really great and I got my knife really fast!! The knife is an ESEE Izula. I have never seen an ESEE in person. I am very pleased with the workmanship.

A+ to the-knife-connection and ESEE knives!!

Why buy online? Looks like they're in the same state as you. Hmmmm. Two posts, both in this thread. Pardon my suspicious mind but . . . . . . . . .
 
I am quite sure there is not an ESEE knife for sale within 2-3 hours drive of Akron Ohio. So 4-6 hours round trip.. I will pay the shipping.

fuel for the drive probably cost more than shipping if you did it.
