Couple questions. How heavy, and how well does S7 hold an edge. I know it is a shock resisting steel and use it quite frequently at work.

The knife is very impressive and a beauty to look at.

I have a couple (Pauli;)) Horton's in S7 and they hold an edge and is also easy to sharpen. I have a Horton Chopper that I take camping and I use my field strop (10 strops per side) at the end of the day, and it is hair shaving sharp.

That is an awesome blade H/K, I really like the wide blade profile and handle too. She has a really nice sweep, just an awesome package, and, with S-7, tough as a jack-hammer bit.
