You chucked aluminum billets in the drill press and made wheels true with the angle grinder? I AM impressed! ;) j/k

No it is not ..........but sure your way is ugly ............LOL
locked.............unlocked .....all that with one finger:p
You really are a troll, lol

You really are a troll, lol
Ok , i google what is that ....troll
a person who makes a deliberately offensive or provocative online post
No way !
In other topic you make comment that you try this and that you don t like that because if hardened plate fall out when you pull out tooling arm it is hard to put it back , RIGHT ?
I give you solution here for that and I m a troll? let me tell you something...........you NEVER tried that , you just looked in my pictures there you didn't see the little details how was done that and you figure that if you pull out tooling arm hardened part may fall out and would be not easy to put it back........prove me wrong with picture of that part of your grinder ! So WHO is troll here ??????

You did not give me a solution. I had already did that before even posting, that was the first thing I did, and told you when you posted it, in a sloppy picture, that it did not work.

I made a simple solution and have been using it for months
Now you made a tapered plug, probably because you found out your original idea did not work, and act like that is what you suggested before.

You are a troll because that is how you act here over and over again. This is not the first time you have heard this.

I am going to put you on "ignore" now, as others have done, because to much time has been wasted with you

You twist my words and you use my poor expression in English against me . My original idea WORKS ..............and here is proof !
IF you really try that you should easy find solution so plug can not fall out .You don t show picture of that part because you never try that .You just want to discredit me for only your known reasons .Previous pictures in other thread are from work in progress...I just share progress in making that grinder .Of course that I notice that problem immediately and search for solution....I done that on that grinder and used it in this one to !
In the end it doesn’t even matter how it was ,it is important that I have solved that problem / and YOU don t solved ....if you really try that/ and that it works great .It is very easy to do this on every grinder, no matter how the chassis is done, cost nothing . Great , simple and cheap solution to any existing grinder out there ,especially good for grinders that have aluminum tooling arm .
Now I m done with you ! For first time i will use my own suggestion to others :)
For rest of members who read this ..........ask your self why someone in middle of fabricating something would stop working to take pictures then put them in folder on comp. use Imgur to show that pictures here ..........What I gain from that ? Nothing , I just waste some of my free time .That make me TROLL???? BUT i hope that from my effort to do all that someone would have some benefit .If even one of you find this usable .......I m happy that i don t waste my time for nothing . Enough , now i must work for living........

Beats paying the dentist :)

Does your dentist use a jig to grind your teeth or does he freehand it? :D
Free hand ...most time :) That s why i say in first post that I got serious competition :D
But , when you already mentioned that ,this is what they used for that task ......this one is naked .Nice small screamming fast air turbine with tungsten carbide micro tools on end. They come in very different shape .I try it on HSS steel and it works .I think it can be useful for some things , knife related...

Looking forward to the trial run on the grinder. I have seen Kyle Royer use some micro power tooling to remove the excess material while fitting the guard, very cool.

Let's hope that the dentist doesn't grind his finger tips off :)

My dentist buys 10 to 20 knives a year from me. He always gives me a bag full of carbide burrs and other tools when he comes over. Dentist tools are really useful to a jeweler, and find use in the knife shop, too. I needed a crown about 20 years back - he let me cast my own gold crown.

Pretty sweet grinder. Are the curved parts for the platen made from brake discs?

Thanks Mecha  Yes , it is front brake disc from motorbike, cut in half.........Almost done with that part of grinder , need to find/measure where to drill that two holes for platen behind belt.
