Here are a collection of belts I am not using... all are brand new never used. :)

First set, Klingsplor CS330 (cork belts)

1) P400 - 2 belts
2) P600 - 2 belts
3) P800 - 1 belt

I bought these from USA Knifemakers, Tracy has some info on his site about using them. They are all 7.75 per belt plus shipping.

Next, 3M 372L finishing belts, retail is 3.30 a piece, plus shipping

1) 15 micron - 2 belts
2) 60 micron - 2 belts
3) 100 micron - 2 belts

Next, 272L finishing belts, retail is 3.30 plus shipping

1) 80 micron - 2 belts

So these would would about $64 plus shipping.

How about $40, and $5 shipping? So, about 30% off. Otherwise I can adjust the price... let me know.

Thanks,
John

Yes, they degrade, but not for year plus. When I bought my Bader the guy had about 30 belts, all 3m, good stuff, never used he sold me for $3 apiece. The guy I get my supplies from said that 3m only warranties their belts for one year, because the glue on the tape joint will get old and fail, to be careful with the belts. It's no fun when they come apart at 5000fpm, especially the 60 grit belts. All ran for about a minute then popped. But they had been sitting for a couple years. Sorry to jack your thread

Hey Luke, Makes sense. Thanks for the heads up...

Yet another shop hazard to watch out for!

I know about that!! A buddy gifted me a box of 50-2 x 48" 3M belts he got at a garage sale....I rigged up a 2 x 42 Craftsman to take a 48" belt....runs like a top...I'm all excited....the belts last about a minute then explode!!
Good news, I also rigged the Craftsman up so I can run 42" belts too.
The long strip of 48" makes for good handle shaping on the vise.
They must have sat in that garage for a loooooong time.
