North Arm is a small (father and son) knifemaker in Vancouver BC, Canada. We use a CNC mill to shape our knives and scales followed by multiple hand finishing steps. We do everything in house starting with raw materials. The lines on the bevels are a result of the machining process and part of our signature look. The scales are attached with stainless screws and standoffs in stead of pins. This means they can be easily removed for cleaning or replacement using a couple 1/16th Allen wrenches if need be. Due to their replaceability we don't grind the scales and tang together to match (this way a new pair of scales would fit any given knife of a certain model); this means the tang and scales don't line up as perfectly as you may be used to; however the fit is very close.
These are our two fixed blade outdoor models great for fishing, hunting, camping, hiking and many other outdoors activities. Our knives are made from the high quality materials, they have excellent edge retention and are built to last. Coho:
The Coho is an all purpose light to medium duty outdoor knife, perfect for many tasks, both in the bush or at camp. Whether you are slicing up vegetables, gutting fish and game, or whittling a roasting stick, the Coho is an excellent choice. Made from CPM S35VN stainless steel. The blade geometry is a nice balance between slicing ability and strength; It differs from many other knives on the market that have been getting thicker and thicker recently. The handle is made of G10, available in two handle colors dark red and camo. Comes with a left or right handed Kydex sheath.

Osprey:
The osprey is the larger of our fixed blade outdoor knives, designed for heavier duty cutting tasks. In appearance and blade geometry it leans in the direction of a so called "tactical" knife although we know of at least two customers who use this blade in their kitchens! A 5" blade and grippy handle give this knife great balance and hand feel. Made from CPM S35VN stainless steel. The handle is made of G10, available in two colors Olive-Drab green and Hunter orange. Comes with a left or right handed Kydex sheath.
