I left for a little cause I had to find my old CD's...Oh yea I am listioning to Great White, Bon Jovi and yes....who knows this....they sang "Get in on"...(no it is not marvin gaye)...80's hair band..

... And EVERY girl had big hair in 89! My ex graduated in 89, and her yearbook would crack me up. EVERY girl in it had huge hair, some all the way out to the edge of pic:D

You do kinda have a Pat Benetar look going on there:thumbup: I saw her in the early to mid eighties and man did she rock live. I'll Never forget what she faked using the mic cord...she was very believable! Oh man, those skin tight black leather pants, the black leather boots, the black leather top open in a V down to her black leather belt.....whoops sorry:o

I will hop on here. I was 2 years old in '89. I will see if I can scan a pic later tonight or in the morning.

In 1989 I was eleven years old, but already prematurely middle-aged. I must say that I'm looking forward to middle-age, as I feel I'll have karmic license to act like a jackass teenager. :D

Well, I for one don't think this thread was all that Brave, Amy---you're a cutie, and all I see here is 1980s cutie. Had I been of in that school with you, I'd have totally been standing in a corner, drumming up courage until you left the room, and telling myself, "Next time."

---and then comforting myself thinking of Ben Franklin's words of wisdom on this subject, "If you want to be happy for the rest of your life, never make a pretty woman your wife" and laughing to myself, realizing too late that I wasn't as alone as I thought I was and then trying to explain to the people next to me that I wasn't laughing at them but was instead thinking of Ben Franklin.... I was alone a lot. :(

Whats funny about that...several years ago she was at Toledo, OH for the big RIB-OFF ...great time tons of different rib venders and all you had to pay was 5 bucks to get in..(WELL..I ended paying 300 bucks between the ribs and the $6 beers) but anyhoo.. she had a concert and you could buy seats but me and my crew(My friends) got there early and had chairs lined up...and enjoyed a concert for 5 bucks and she did real good...and she mentioned in one song....that in her younger days she did some stuff with the microphone that she could not repeat cause she is a Mom...and ...fill in the parts...too funny that you mention that...:)
