I originally made this post my official 200th post. I am giving away two of my traditional knives. This time I have decided to let the giveaway winners choose the knife he/she wants from the ones following below. All of these knives have celluloid handles and need to be used while they are still in good condition. There are several knives to choose from.

Qualifications: You must have 25 posts in this subforum to be eligible to win over and above the posts here to be “in” a giveaway. It doesn’t matter if you have only 50 posts total on Bladeforums or 5000 or 50000; you must have at least 25 posts in traditionals. If I pick your number and you do not have enough posts (over the “I’m in” ones), then I’ll pick another winner. If you are not sure what this means send me a PM. I am opening this giveaway up to any country that the United States Postal Service will deliver a package. The giveaway will be open until 2:00 CDT on August 22, 2010.

Exceptions:
• Getahl, who won my last giveaway, will not be eligible for this one. Getahl, you will be eligible for the next one.
• If you reside in a country that USPS (United States Postal Service) will not deliver, do not opt into this giveaway.
• If the knives in the giveaway are not legal for you to own in your country or are subject to seizure by your customs (or ours for that matter), then do not opt in to this giveaway. It is up to you to know the regulations governing knives in your country.

So, this giveaway is open to more people than my first. Enjoy.

There are a couple Fight’n Rooster stockman knives, three Bulldog Canoes, a Bulldog transition half congress, a small Fight’n Rooster 4-blade congress and a Bulldog muskrat to choose from.

I can’t for the sake of time and space show a lot of detailed pictures of any specific knife here, but once the winner is announced and indicates interest in a specific knife, I will provide him with enough photos for him to decide if it is “the one”.

All of these knives were purchased several years ago and are unused and unsharpened. I would say they are all in excellent plus condition. With them being celluloid handled, I can’t make any warranty as to how long the scales will remain stable. Everyone knows how uncertain that would be. I am giving this knife away because the knives themselves are good quality and definitely worth owning and using. I am hoping that the new owner will use this knife and enjoy it, although using it is not a condition for winning; you can do with it what you want except sell it for profit. You may give it away if you choose to do so.

And no, you do not have to post photos of yourself, your wife, your girlfriend or boyfriend, or pet or any of those kind of things. Just post “I’m in” and you’re in. If you want to share anything with the group in the post that is fine, but it is not a requirement.

This is my way of giving back to the members of this forum. If you are not a paid up basic member or better, please subscribe to the thread so that you will know if you win this thing.

I think there is enough variety here for most anyone to find something that interests them. Good luck to everybody.

First winner - #21 sunnyd. Anthony you will have first choice.

Second winner - #32 dipbait. You will have your choice after Anthony picks the one he wants.

Ed, I do not own any celluloid handled knives, and those Bulldog canoes are calling to me! From what I've read, the best way to keep them from "gassing" is to leave them in the open air-- in other words, USE THEM.

Well, you've got two weeks to get 25 posts, you've already got 9. I have made over 100 posts in the last month, so get busy and start sharing. You might just make it before the end of the giveaway.

I don't know if I have enough posts in the traditionals forum, but I'd like a chance in this give away. Thank you.

Thank you very much for the change, I am in and thank you also for your generosity! *is eyeing Canoes lustfully*... And I do not have any real celluloid knife that I am aware. Just plastic and such.

I have decided to lower the bar on entering this giveaway from 50 posts in traditioanls to 25 posts in order to give more folks an opportunity to win. After this giveaway is completed, I will re-run it for new bladeforum members. Hard not to become a fan of a forum when you sign up and have an opportunity to win a new blade.
