I am very sad to do this but I am trying to raise some cash. I am selling my 2000 CQC-6 that I just got about 2 months ago from Les Robertson. The knife is in very good condition and was only carried on "special" occasions. The knife has some very very I mean very light scuffs on the bolsters but this knife could be mint if sent to Ernie for refinishing ($50 is what I am told this will cost). Anyway, this is one really nice knife and is very hard to let go of but I am keeping my pre-date 6 so its not that bad. I am asking $1375 for the 2000 shipped overnight. This one has some really nice micarta on it. Payment by cashiers check only. I am giving the "Suspects" first crack at this one and then I guess it will go to the regular "for sale" forum. I may accept partial trades but mainly looking for cash. Thanks.

Bummer, dude. If I had the money, I'd help ya out.

Hey, I have a question concerning Ernie's customs. I've never seen a picture of their clip configuration. Is it the same as the production knives?

Yes it is the same except they are typically satin on the custom knives. Back in the day he used Benchmade production clips and before that...?

Dagnabit, I have the money but I got bills to get rid of first! *grrrrrr*

As to the clips. Ernie does use the "Hourglass" pocket clips on the customs. I have recieved customs with black clips, and some with Satin clips. One never knows.
