I got my Kershaw Rake yesterday. What a well designed knife it is. G-10, steel liners, a huge, perfectly centered, CPM D2, Bowie style blade and my speed safe opening is off the chart.

I thought it would be slow, per reviews I'd read, but uh uh, this blade snaps open with authorithy!

Pics and thanks again Dave. :D

Awesome giveaway, Dave. I am definitely in on this one.

KAI has been and always will be my favorite production company. I feel KAI is a company that truly believes in its product and they show it by standing by what they produce and sell 100%. I feel that Kershaw will especially always hold a special place for me because my first well built real knife was a Kershaw. It was a small aluminum handle liner lock with a partially serrated blade and a rubber inlay. I don't know the name or model number, but it was a great little knife. That knife is what got me hooked. I wish I still had that knife, but unfortunately it was lost long ago and I haven't been able to find another small since at a reasonable price. Some day I will run across one on the forums and I'll replace my first real knife.

Oh wow! Very cool of you, Dave. I really appreciate it. I know the one I had was definitely the smaller of the two sizes. This will bring back a lot of memories. Thank you very much.

Well, this is gonna be a little different...

Last night I was reading in my devotions and thinking about the current times and
All that my future holds for me. I'm 17 years old so some might say I still have a lot of my life to live. Anyways, I found it encouraging that God sent His son Jesus to die for me and that I don't have to worry about what's going on in the world because He's in control. Romans 8:28- And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Anyways hope this was encouraging to someone.

It's great to find people that aren't afraid to post what they feel and better to have an environment that it can be done. Thank you.

And Dave, finding a knife that someone was looking for 3 months ago? I don't know of anybody, anywhere that would go that far for customer service. Wow!

I'm encouraged n8swag, remember the Sunday school song - "He's got the Whole World in His Hands!" :p :D

n8swag - The good word is always an encouragement. But very random placement :D

Dave, that is cool of you to spend the time when shipping out 80 knives a day to find an old Kershaw to hook a fellow BF brother up.
