2001 BU532 projects?

No, but let's start some rumors right now !
A 532 with full file worked liners and a choice of damascus , BG42 ot ATS 34 steel. Also, lots of handle scale choices...
Hey, that sound alot like a Custom Shoppe knife...

I am currently negotiating a price on somewhere between five and ten 2000 532's to be rehandled and fully fileworked (blade spine, backsprings inside and out). I am leaning toward pearl, desert ironwood and stag as the handles. The craftsman who'll do it if I get a decent price on the basic knives is well known, very accomplished, and often over-booked. It will take six months to a year to get 'em back (by which time Buck may introduce their own version). Nonetheless, stay tuned for updates. I'll post info on my site at www.vintageknives.com as I have it. Nothing is firm yet because I have to have the knives in hand at a people's price to pull this off...
