Sold Thanks for looking. Hi, I have an 2003 "Liquid Silver" FZ1 for sale. This bike was purchased new in 04 and is still under the Yamaha extended warranty until March, 2009. The bike is in mint condition, always garaged and rider has 30+ yrs experience.
Due to a surgery and some back problems the bike didn't get ridden for awhile and has less than 3000 miles on it. I had the carburetors rebuilt by the best Yamaha mechanic in my area (Yamaha of Cucamonga) and replaced the battery. It has been ridden plenty since then and runs better than when it was new.
If you're not familiar with the FZ1 it's basically a bigger, more comfortable (more upright seating) sport bike. It's very fast and handles well, but is also big and strong enough to mount bags on and have a very SPORT oriented sport-tourer. Great for 2 up or very fast commuting. (Yes, I am portraying it as a "do-it-all" kind of bike, because it is!)
Asking price is $5500 and a nice cover and a good tailbag are available. Bike is in So Cal, Inland Empire area. My email is behafonore@sbcglobal.net
