I'm trying to refine my collecting a little, so I've decided to let this piece go. For any of you Chris Reeve enthusiasts, you'll know how rare this knife is. Other than being a "Regular" style Sebenza, which is desirable enough, it has the very rare, large jimping that CRK experimented with in early 2004. There weren't very many knives produced with this style jimping before they returned to their traditional style. Collectors will know that these almost never come up for sale.
The knife has never been used or carried, but it does appear to have been held and cycled (open/closed) due to the loss of anodizing on the tip of the thumbstud and slight smoothing of the sand-blasted texture on the lock-side of the handle. There are no other signs of use - not even any "snail-trails" which show up when the wind blows across this type of finish. I got this from the estate sale of the original purchaser of the knife in 2004 (original sales receipt is included). It also has the original box, birthcard, take-down tool, tissues, etc.
The sale price is $675 Sold including insured shipping in CONUS and PP fees. I'll discuss partial trades, but I'd like to clear at least $300 cash + a trade to fund other pursuits.
First clear "I'll take it" has precedence over PM's or emails, but please feel free to contact me with questions or offers.
