Hi guys, got a couple of folders up for sale or trade today. First, the rules of sale. You must be 18 and know your local laws. First I'll take it followed by payment within a reasonable time frame gets it. Prices are via paypal goods and shipping via USPS priority mail 2-day to ConUS. I am willing to ship internationally on the condition that you pay for shipping and assume all responsibility for the knife making it through customs and to your door (I will not lie on customs forms).
Trades: My interests are broad, so feel free to shoot me any trade ideas (including single bladed traditionals) with cash from either party as necessary. I'm not currently interested in budget knives, those with serrations, or those with blade play.
First, a 2004 Emerson Commander, black on black and plain edge. Asking PRICE DROP #2 $140 OBRO shipped.
Being from 2004, it has the softer G10 texture (which I greatly prefer to the new stuff) and no swedge (dropped in 2002, not sure what year they added it back to the design).
I picked it up in like new condition on the forums a little less than a year ago, and I've carried it a dozen or so times though it has seen little use. It still has the very sharp factory chisel edge. There is some minor pocket wear on the G10 as well as minor wear in the coating on the spine of the knife, grind line, wave feature, and handle screws, but it is in otherwise very good condition. I have tried my best to highlight these in the pictures. Action is very smooth. Lockup is early and has been broken in to the point where it is not significantly sticky.
I currently have the pivot adjusted for centering, and there is quite a bit of horizontal blade play. Please note - if you completely adjust out the horizontal blade play, the blade WILL contact the liner when closed. Emerson would likely be willing to correct the issue, but it didn't bother me enough to send it in for service.
Next up is a full size SOG Aegis Digicam and black plain edge blade (repost). Asking PRICE DROP #2 SPF $35 shipped.
This knife is a solid user with lots of life left in it. The assist feature fires hard, without threatening to jump out of your hand. There is some wear in the coating near the tip and the spine of the blade, I have done my best to highlight this in the pictures. There is also a fine scratch in the handle running the height of the handle near the lock. Blade favors the presentation side when closed but does not contact the handle. There is some minor vertical and moderate horizontal blade play (I've never handled an assisted SOG without it), but I can't get the lock to fail no matter how I push or twist the blade.
