With 2003 closing out, what are your planned purchases for the coming year?

Mine are:
William Henry Lancet/ironwood
WH Westcliff/Ti
WH Spryte/Ti
and possibly a Lone Wolf Loveless City Knife

With any luck there will be a few new ones introduced that I can add to my "must have" list. Hopefully the re-designed CRK Umfaan.

A couple of Kershaw Bumps, one for me one for my wife.
An Extrema Ratio Nemesis.
A Strider fixed blade, probably a MT-L.
And another Strider Folder, either a SnG or another SmF.

My HideAway knife should be ready just after the new year, and I'm planning on getting a Benchmade/Blackwood folder.

I'll also see what I can get at the Vegas Classic and Knife Expo, but I'll probably be broke. If possible, I want a matching Criswell Wakizashi and Tanto to go with my katana.

If Christine wishes to continue Rob's work, I will get a couple Simonich Mid-Techs. Thoughts and prayers still with them...

Also interested in the new Chris Reeve Umfaan, if it comes out in 2004. Other than that, I plan to be at the Blade Show.

Quiet bear, they are going to continue and do Rob's work. Christine Simonich's email address is on the website.

Buck Strider, Emerson Commander and maybe Al Mar Sere. I,m done with Zytel handled stuff. Nothing wrong with 'em, just moving on.

A Benchmade 705BW, Spyderco Navigator II and hopefully a couple of nice slipjoints with one of them coming from Bark River Knife and Tool. :D

In this next year I have at least a couple of custom bowies headed my way, maybe three. One from Ron Newton, another from Jerry Fisk and possibly one from Roger Massey.

I am also interested in a few production folders. From Spyderco, the Chinook II and Paramilitary and from Extrema Ratio the Fulcrum II D.

All of them! :D

Too many to list. There are a lot of custom knives I'd like to get this year (and make) and quite a few productions that I must have. :D

My only "must have"s this year are a Camillus Cuda Maxx, and a Benchmade Balisong. There are lots of knives out there that appeal to me, but nothing really grabs me as much as those two. I have most everything I want.

Simonich Bitteroot
Helle Polar Puuko
Strider Hideaway
Marlowe Hideaway
Wegner Mouse II
Benchmade BM 31

What can I say - I'm starting to really dig small blades.

I've got a few customs I've run past a few makers I've met here in the forum. Some personal designs that I've finally made an effort to get created. I have set aside a few bucks for some antique and new production blades I'm anticipating from the Philippines. Other than that, there's really nothing left on my list.

I've got a Hinderer Bali and a BM630 coming. And if Scott can get caught up I'll hopefully have a small Lochsa coming my way. And of course there'll probably be some interesting bowies I'll come across...and almost forgot I've got a Damascus Mayo on the way.

Hopefully. . .within the next several months:

C2O (Carson, Carson & Obenauf)
Microtech UTX-70
Microtech mini-SOCOM (framelock - tactical)

Have a few transactions (knives to be made) that are in-progress that I'd rather not comment on at this time. :D
