2005 Blade show

Yep, that's me, I'm known for my loud roar. You can even hear me across the table sometimes, if it's not too crowded of a place.

I'll be there. Not to many places in Atlanta that you can run around with 12 knives and a sword or two on you and not attract any attention :D

Man I am glad that some of you are going to be able to make it to the show and a group dinner. Otherwise I was afraid that I ws going to be sitting a table alone begging the waitstaff to bring me just "one" more Diet Coke.

It's not far from the Galleria. If y'all want to go there, maybe we could caravan or something.

That is a heavy duty place to eat. Great food but kind of pricey. The only reason that I would vote against it is I do not know how well it would work as far as us being able to talk to each other easily. Can be very loud and crowed on the weekend. Just wanted to throw that out there.

Y'know, Mark, you're right. I also remember that the one up on Windy Hill Road isn't that big.

Good pic Mark, I didn't know you were a dad?

Dave, are you coming to the show?

I hope so! Depends on my wife. She's afraid of the United States.

Oh I should have been clear. That is my nephew in law, I think. My brother's wife's sister's son...so whatever that makes him to me! I love the little fella regardless. And by little I mean gaint baby. He was just 6 months old in that pic and tipped the scales at just over 22lbs.

Oooh, yummy.
I've been to places like that: Don't eat for a day before you go. And, to prevent extreme discomfort by the end of the meal, wear something loose fitting around the waist ... like a mumu. :D

I had the best meal of my LIFE in Fogo de Chao in Atlanta. It's Brazillian. They give you these 2-sided red & green coaster thingies. You flip it over to "green" and these waiters rush over to carve filet mignon strips, or whatever steak, lamb, & meatish delectables they're carrying around on skewers a Ghurka would be proud to own. When you have enough on your plate, you flip the thing to red. The SALAD BAR is like 50'x20' and they get tall coinage for IT.

A good prank when dining there is to flip your companions coaster thingie when they're inattentive... Patrolling Gaucho waiters assail them right away.

Expensive, and well worth it.

Ad Astra (eat there and see. Also in Texas- they have a few locations)

Of course you guys realize the Busse crew is planning to get together at Fogo's also. Is there enough room for hogs and khuks?:D

I, for one, happen to think the two go together very nicely. :D

And the restaurant does sound good to me.....I will probably need a ride, though.
