2006 Toyota Tundra double cab, Limited, TRD!

The Toyota trucks are built in southern Indiana. Last I heard Toyota is looking to expand production on the Camery etc. (at the SIA Plant in Lafayette IN ) IMHO they will overtake GM in the near future in total units sold! They are more profitable right now. GM makes more money on their financing than on units sold.:)

I don't know for sure, just going on friends who have both, but I bet you get the same as far as gas mileage and maybe even better on the highway with the diesel...

Looking at either a Tundra or an older model 4 door Tacoma, both 4wd. Still looking at older model Silverado or Colorado though. Depending on your usage, you might be able to get away with a Tacoma. Unless you will be using it for work, theres no reason why the regular commuter would need anything bigger than a Tundra, F150 or 1500 GM truck. If I wasn't fat, I'd probably opt for either a Colorado or a 4 door Tacoma and not even think about the Tundra or Silverado. Let's see some pics of these trucks!

FYI, the Tacoma for 2005 is a lot bigger than previous model year Tacomas. I'm 6'6" and 250 lbs and I have plenty of room.
