2007 BCCI Knife

...What's a 111???...

With a gold BCCI etch, I doubt that knife will re-sell very well. I'm going to bet there will not be many of them for sale on eBay.

...I have to agree with ya Buck_110, on the _Bay thing...I do have this "thing" about "etchin's " as well myself...but at least it isn't a cut-out...Everything else about it sounds pretty good...not to mention that I don't have a 111...  ...I would guess that if it's gonna be mirror polished, we're lookin' at 420HC...

Personally, if they have to do a 111, I'd rather see it with unique wood scales and minus the rear bolster.....oh yeah and with S30V steel. Also, instead of the BCCI logo etched on the blade, I'd like to see it in the form of a medallion inlaid on the scales. Now that would be a club 111 I'd buy and keep.

I have two Buck 111's. A MP custom and a stag 111LE from Buck with no rear bolster. Here are their pic's.

...Your's sounds even better Mike...I'm so "wishy washy" lately...LMAO...( what the he_ _ is "wishy washy" ???...  ) :p

That's an eBay pic...You buying it or selling it???

I'd guess selling, from the blade cutout...

I fished that from the bay just for you Trax. I'm not buying or selling it. Don't need a cookie cutter.

I'm with Mike with the medallion gig. Metal like the 100th Anniv 110 Oakies. Not plastic like the Politburo Comrade Button that, IIRC, was on the transition folder.

Outstanding John; sounds like it should be a beauty. Thanks for the update. Gods Love and Blessings to all.
Larry <>< :)

Okay, we've got it all worked out. The 2007 annual club knife will be a 111 with nickel silver bolsters, stag handles and the club logo gold etched on it's mirror polished blade. It should be a real winner!

John

Every annual club knife with a mirror polished that the BCCI has ever done has had an etched blade. We can't go breaking tradition!

Well, what about this years Fund Raiser knife, John??? What'll that be???

Hi trax,

The December club news by John said.....the next special project knife will be a Duke 500, Polished blade with no nail nick, honey worm-grooved bone no pins. We should be able to order it from the March club news letter  :D .

...the next special project knife will be a Duke 500...

Yep, I read that...but is a "special project" knife always a "fund raiser", or are there separate categories for "fund raisers" and "special projects"???

I liked the idea of an "upgraded steel" 120 as John mentioned...and I emailed him with that opinion...

I urge all members/readers here to email John their opinion also... ;)

I'm guessing that if there were enough members emailing their support for two distinct knives, that one might be designated a "special project" and the other a "fund raiser", and orders placed for both...

I hope I hope I hope... :p

The powers at large should take the best couple of suggestions then run a poll here.

I would really like a 120. Too cool for school
