2007 Blade Show - Anyone going?

I have never really traveled for a knife/gun show but a buddy of mine really, really wants to go down to Atlanta for the 2007 Blade Show. I have been debating whether to go since I would have to take sometime of work and it would be a good drive.

However, I have heard that this is THE Knife Show and that one must eventually go. Anyone planning on going? Who has been there in the past years?
 
Be there Thursday thru Sunday. It's the Knife Show and you'll never regret going. Bring comfortable shoes and dough.

I went for the first time last year!! I am planning on going this year!!!

I'll be there again this year. If you like knives and enjoy looking at all kinds of stuff, the Atlanta show is the place to be in June. Bring money. It is also an opportunity to buy custom knives from the maker directly which is pretty neat. You pay your money and you walk out with your knife. That used to be the case with Randall knives, but the demand is so high that every knife is for display purposes only or the blade is some special one of a kind thing for major dollars.

As always it will be great to see old and make new friends. Blade Show is my favorite weekend of the year and then when you toss the knives in nothing can compare.
 
My life is really not my own. Not anymore and not yet...if you know what I mean. (Last really independent, important decision made in...I think...1975.)

I'd sure like to go. We'll see -- I'll try to find SOME way to 'sneak it in.'

I'd sure like to put a living face to some of the interesting handles/icons of BF.
 
Missed the Chicago show last year - but would never miss Blade! Fourth consecutive year (I'm just a newbie). The first time you walk through the doors.....well, bring a drool cup.:)
 
Living a 2 1/2 hour drive away, it would be a sin for me to miss it. Also, my daughter Kimberly insists that we always go.
 
With all that has happened to us in the past year I don't know if we will make it this year. Orders still have to be filled and if we do go it will be a miracle but there's always a chance that maybe Atlanta will be on the list. We'll see.;)

Cindy, if you guys don't show up this year, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to whoop you with a knotted plow line! Ok, maybe Josey Wales will whoop ya, but you get the idea anyway. ;) :)
 
already have the room booked (good ones fill up early) its great seeing the sharks from Hi and this year I hope to meet a few buck friends as well. Already working on set aside funds cause ya can't buy just one
