Anybody planning on going? I'll have a table there. Hoping to meet some of you fine southern folks that don't get up my way and vice versa. :)

The ABS show in Reno proved to be a gathering of some of the best bladesmiths in the country. The show moving to San Antonio will make it even more of an amazing show.  :)

I'd like to try and get down there. I'll let you know if I'm able. It be good to put a face with a name and meet some of the makers from the boards.

It would be great to meet you in the flesh Nathan! I looked it up... only 400 miles to San Antonio ;) :D

I thought knifemaker/knife wise... the show in Reno was one of the best in the country. It was a very intimate setting where we could all really talk to other makers and collectors.

Now that it's going to be in Texas, it should have all those same great qualities, but with a magnificent setting to boot.

I am excited!!! :)

Yeah, and with it being in San Antonio in August, people will be more inclined to stay inside and look at knives...:D

400 miles is a walk in the park down here. I used to drive 90 miles each way to work when I was in grad school. You know, everything's bigger in Texas. :) Either that, or I live so far out in the middle of nowhere that I have to drive 5 hours to get anywhere. :D

Texas is truly the state where you can give someone directions like go to the middle of nowhere, turn left and drive another 40 miles and you will be there.:D

Did not know about this untill I read this thread. Thanks Nick, I will put it on the calender.
