No disrespect to your work, or new forums was intended.
And I probably will have a look at some of the other videos that are out there, this happened to be the first one that I had seen. I am aware of some of your other work, I am a fan of benchmade knives, and saw some of your designs there.

The point of my statement was that if you're going to cut up thousands of dollars why even put a price tag on a knife at all? Why not do some give aways or something? that will probably bring around more customers in the end.

As was suggested maybe you didn't even cut up that entire pile of money from $100 bills.
Even if you did, or didn't, our opinions don't matter much to eachother anyways. Good luck.

The government shreds damaged cash and releases it. You can buy bags full of it for not much at all. I imagine that is what Snody is using, and the cutting in the vid is just for dramatic effect to add to the atmosphere he was looking for in the video. Of course he's not cutting up thousands of dollars for packing material, that would be silly.

Let me go ahead and formulate my apology.

As should be with most Americans, the financial crisis of this country, and most of the world, is fresh on my mind. When I first saw this video I had a very hard time comprehending why someone would do something like this. I am a veteran and currently work in law enforcement and live paycheck to paycheck. I am by no means well off, or rich. As I watched this video, I thought of my wife and I scrounging up $300 + for some custom knife, that I don't even really need, buying a very expensive knife, and then the manufacturer cutting up the hundred dollar bills up with scissors. It was sort of like a slap in the face to people who purchase these very expensive knives.

But, you know what, the money is yours, do what you do. I really think your products rock. Much respect to a man doing what he loves, and I wish that my hobby/love of knives could also be my profession.

As I said, no disrespect intended, I just hope that when I purchase one of your knives you don't cut up the cash, you use it to buy more materials to produce more affordable knives for your supporters, so that more people can enjoy your products.
