Fellas,
Scored another awesome Hay Budden recently, and as much as I'd like to start collecting them, I just don't have room for more than 1 right now.
This baby is approx 200lb's, and it still has serial # and "Hay Budden Manufacturing Company" showing.
I think we dated it back to within 3 years of 1896 or something like that? I have forgotten.
Anyhow, I have pics and can email them upon request.
The anvil has since been cleaned up, and all the light surface rust in the pics is gone now. It really cleaned up nice with a wire brush on the angle grinder.
There is the usual table wear as with most all of these old beauties, but it has tons of use left in it, and will outlast us all I'm sure.
Really hate to see her go, but would like to see her find a good home.
I'm asking $1 per pound, so $200. I think this is a fair price for an anvil of this caliber.
Would prefer local pickup at this time...
Thanks fellas...
