2011 ABS Journeyman knife of the year

My agent informs me that the auction for this beauty has concluded. This one is headed to NY to join my growing collection of Wheelers.

Way to go Nick.. That ladder pattern is TIGHT! Beautiful. I just wish I could see it closer.

good score Mr. Gill!
I have admired your collection, virtually, on more than one occassion- so thank you for displaying it.
Every piece gets my heart rate up; you have EXCELLENT taste in knives!

Holy Cow!!! I just checked out your collection ptgdvc. Absolutely stunning. I like every knife you own... wow!!!!!!!

Wow Nick that is great!!

-Ladder pattern fighter/bowie (300ish layers of 1084 and 15N20)
BTW- If you like the pattern in this fighter, then my good buddy Mike Quesenberry is totally to thank as I have picked his brain apart on the subject (I think he's doing some of the nicest ladder patterns in the business). If you don't like it.... then just blame me for sucking! :foot: :o :)

Thanks for looking!!! :)

You are so right about Mike's ladder damascus, I had a chance to check that out on a couple of his award winning blades at OKCA Show in Eugene. It looks like you are well on your way to similar great ladder damascus! Right ON

Cordailly,
Eric
