Does anyone have any ideas, or a wish list of any new becker knives coming out in 2011. I would like to see a big chopper.
 
Nothing official yet. So, no, no idea what they are coming out with. Take heart though, the longer the wait, the more time you have to shore up money for the flood of steel.

yeah, so, it's not coming back. other threads have gone into why if someone must know, they can search.

next time, i'm gunna have a rickroll answer. never gunna happen, gotta give it up, like a virgin, chopped up for the very first time...

Since that the BK-5 is already back, have to go with the Kukri as well. And maybe a leather sheath option for some pieces. Custom wood handle slabs?

You know, hawkhead, there are better ways to reply to another poster. The question about the Brute has been asked — and answered — numerous times. Do a search, and you'll find the answer.

i'm not sure why they would do that.

now, maybe they'll have a new knife, even long, and more than 1/4 inch thick :) well, likely not. steel gets expensive that thick.

i was actually thinking about a 10" long bk-2 last night since the bk-2's drop point keeps the spine's thickness as much as it can.

a special run of serialized, 10" bk-2s limited to 100 only for beckerheads?! :D
 
We know you’ve all been waiting, so here’s the word on the Beckers for 2011.

In the coming year there will be Beckers. No, no, there really will, and they’ll be great. There will be old standbys, and some new ones, too. The new ones will be different than the old ones, but just as good, except they’ll be newer.

I just hope I didn’t give away too much of what’s been planned. I know you’re all just as excited as I am about this announcement.

Word.
