2011 bf knife - choice of labels for knife tube

Gene Kerley has graciously taken on the task of designing labels for this year's BF Knife (as he has in year's past). This year, he came up with 3 amazing designs and frankly, we just can't choose which one we like best. So we want to know what you think about them and which you would prefer.

I'm going to do a poll to gather your thoughts. ONLY PEOPLE WHO HAVE ORDERED, OR ARE 100% SURE THEY WILL ORDER, A 2011 KNIFE CAN VOTE IN THE POLL. As those people have paid money for a knife, it should be up to them to decide what type of packaging that knife will come in. Everyone else can respond to the thread and discuss the designs, BUT DO NOT VOTE IN THE POLL.

Thanks, and if you planned on purchasing a BF knife but haven't done so yet, please try and get them in soon.

I have to say that I find it very hard to choose one. I finally decided on the yellow background, it has a warm feel to it. I will be happy with any of these. They all have an old traditional feel about them. I hope Gene is not tired of hearing compliments, because these are awesome.

I really like the sketch of the knife. All three are very nice so I haven't voted yet... leaning toward the two on the left though.

Yea....Gene did an awesome job on the sketch. True to the traditional ink sketches. I think the Red/White/Blue just pops out at you
 
Gene did such an extraordinary job on all three of these.

Thank you sir for that effort. I do not see how we could go wrong with any of them. I like the left and middle ones the most and would be perfectly happy with the other one. So I am not going to vote since I would rather just go with the gang's decision.
 
Unlike Gus who is easy to get along with, and an all around great guy, I will as usual, be opinionated, pushy, and generally obnoxious!
The right hand label is the only possible choice! It pulses and breathes "Olde Time" cutlery! An eye catcher for sure, it is in-yer-face pumpkin colored, and I ain't afraid of no Punkin's!

Well that is an endorsement I can not refuse to listen to. My vote was just cast right after this response. - Gus (at least I had the minimal wisdom not to mess with Charlie's post. :D.

I cant make up my mind, the three have captured the essence of Traditional, and that is what I think is important, so I wont vote yet, but will revisit the page and ponder many times over I think.

The green in the middle is the sweetest one as far as I'm concerned. They're all very nice, but the middle one just has a little something extra.

Really looking forward to it!

BTW: Yes, I totally ordered/paid for one :D
 
They all look great but the one on the right REALLY sings to me. I love the old-timey feel of the colors and fonts.

Very impressive group of designs! Again, I can't wait to pocket this knife.

My vote went for the great looking, olde-time-y yellow design on the right. Perfect fit for this great pattern! :thumbup::D:thumbup:
 
Amazing work on all of them! Absolutely fantastic stuff, I'd be happy with any of them; now I just actually gotta pay for one of these babies...
 
All three are totally cool! Gene, a big THANK YOU for designing these! I went with the yeller feller on the right, but will be happy with whatever comes out on top!
 
I voted for the yellow backround one, mainly because of the font. All are great thought, and i will be very happy any way!
 
I picked the one in the middle. You can easily read all the lettering and the different shades of green meld nicely. I like the one on the right with the yellow background but the black lettering on the dark red banner is difficult to read (at least for me). The one one the left is too busy especially with the rays behind the knife. That's my .02¢ .

All of them are great and kudos to Gene for all the work he put in on them. I'll be happy with whatever one is selected.
 
I like the middle one best, but all three are fantastic. Gene's got a great talent for this.
