Words can't even describe how nice these knives have turned out seeing those pics! GEC really are on their A game with these...they have me as a future customer thats for sure!!! :D

Can't wait till Christmas day.

My friend, whenever it comes...that will do, so no pressure from me.
I dont envy your job, and I think you are doing it fantastically, so pretty much on behalf of all of us - thank you very much for your efforts!

I picked up my knife on Saturday after Veteran's Day. I'm very pleased with it. Feels smaller than it is. If I had better skills I'd try to take an in hand photo but I know I've got larger hands than most. That spear blade will be a good working blade.

Found this in the mailbox today. This one is about as good as it gets. Everything is aligned right, good snap, its right in most every aspect. Not as sharp as expected but that is easily correctable.

Just picked up my two from the mailbox. All I can simply say is WOW! Quality through and through! Very sharp edges, snappy walk and talk with just the right amount of pull. Both blades are absolutely dead-center. The channels are clean, no gaps or sunlight through the springs, and the springs lay flat on all 3 positions. GEC knew they had to nail this one on account of our pickiness in chicken-eyeing/coon fingering and I give this one an A+!!

Actually I am going to down grade my original overly enthusiastic "A+" to a straight "B". It loses an entire grade for the whole bottle cap uselessness, see later posts.
Also, I found a good size flat on the cutting edge where something hard dinged the blade in manufacturing. I will attempt to file it down. I did not see it upon earlier
examination and only when the light hit it right did I see it.

I really like the yellow and orange around the edges in that second picture. It fits right in with fall. Just don't drop it in leaves :D. Actually it almost looks like the fleshy part of a peach, which goes good with that peach seed jigging!

I drove up to visit Andy today and picked up my knife in person. Nice meeting you Andy and thanks for the hospitality!

I can't seem to get any decent pictures without natural lighting but my knife is on par with what has been posted so far. Very, very nice and typical GEC quality throughout.

Y'all done good!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I received mine today, and I am very happy. Thanks again to those who worked on this project!

Mine rolled in today... Too dark for pics now, but people are going to be very happy with the quality of this knife. Blades are dead center, grinds fit and finish as good as it gets on a production piece....The label is just awesome! Very sharp right out of the box.... The fit of the bone to the knife and the walk & talk of both blades is commendable also. Very slick and smooth.... Well done everyone. You all should be proud of your efforts and my sincere thanks goes to each of you as well as GEC.
I am digging the master blade too. This is a knife ready for work....This knife is schweeet. :D
