We're now accepting pre-orders for the new 2011 Kershaw knives. There are several new models to be excited about this year, including some very attractive american made models such as the assisted Kershaw 1860 Piston and assisted Kershaw 1880 Echelon.
Also new this year is the Kershaw 1870 Knockout, which features an inset stainless steel plate which acts as the liner. This lets the knife remain fairly lightweight, while retaining a lot of lock strenght normally lost in these designs.
Kershaw's overseas offerings for 2011 include a new Matt Diskin design, the "Kershaw Diskin". These are reasonably priced at just $29.95 when they arrive.
Another popular model will be the Kershaw One Ton, an upgraded, upscaled version of the half ton which won much praise. The knife has been upgraded with G10 handle scales and is a bit bigger at just over 8" open.
