2012 Blade show question

I want a Battle Mistress and am hoping to buy one at this year's atl blade show. I have the early bird ticket and am planning on getting there really early. Do you guys think that I will have the opportunity to buy one. Do you go up to the booth and simply buy or is there more to it? I have wanted this knife for years and it is the only reason that I am coming. Thanks for any advice that you guys may be able to give me. I really appreciate it!
 
If you rush to the booth, you might snag one. At the beginning everyone will be grabbing stuff.

Over the period of the show they'll sneak something on the table and it'll be first come first serve.

But, if you really want it, I'm sure someone will try and help you snag one.
 
Thank you! I was going to get there at 8 a.m. and wait. Is this too extreme for what I want to buy? Does the line even matter when the doors fling open at 12?

It does and you should map out the show as to where you want to go.
 
What time should I camp out to insure success? Guys, I have wanted this knife for years. My family and I go camping every weekend and this is going to be the last knife that I baton wood with. What time do you think and will it be difficult to find busse when the doors open?

We can't be disclosing what time everyone is going to get in line. It's kind of like insider trading.

You should get there on Tuesday before sunset. That will give you plenty of time to be in the top 10 to 20 in line. :)
 
If I get one before you Ill let it go for a beer after the show :) Ill be the ugly bald guy with his hands full of INFI :D
 
My guess is you will be able to buy 20 of them and some will be available for the whole show
 
What exact model of Battle Mistress do you seek? There have been many varaitions on that name sold over the years, and the version you most want may not be there. It is likely that some FFFBM and NMFBM will be sold, but nothing older.

You'd be surprised how fast Eric can run to the Busse booth when he's half awake and half drunk.

He made great time last year.

Then again......he still looked like hell for a couple hours while I felt like a champ :D
 
You are all getting VERY VERY hungry. You will let Eric cut you in line, I repeat, very hungry, bacon, hungry, mmm, bacon
