i'm always up on the current survival needs. have prolly 60k of 5.56 alone. but not to take any chances i just got 100k of this. i can always fall back on my cheaper stuff.

100K rds of 5.56?!? Good for you!! I thought I had a decent amount at 5K!

As for 2012...I really don't care either way. I'm ready for a good SHTF if it happens. If not, I'll be ready when it does. If I were a betting man I'd say that this will be another Y2K. Lots of loons running around like chickens with their heads cut off and nothing ends up happening.

So this is why the Company Store has been down so long!!! Skunk's gonna start giving away Zombie Max ammo with the purchase of a knife. Now that's my kind of Skunk Junk :eek::D
 
I don't think it will be so bad. They expect to sort out the God Particle (Standard Model Higgs boson) at Cern this year, and once they prove mass is not a requisite of existence but only an optional expression, surely this whole high-maintenance, short-life physical existence thing will go out of style in favor of low-maintenance immortality as pure energy.

Its the same stuff as their vmax ammo just with a green tip instead of red, its a frangible anti-varmint round if I'm not mistaken.

Yup, probably Hornady's version of Barnes Varmint Grenades, soft core stuff. Green polymer tip bullet, throw 2 more grains of powder in the casing, sell at 15% more.

Zombies go down by shooting them in the head, so call me cheap, but I'm not leaving my good ol FMJs.

The economic collapse will be a lot worse than zombies. Just make sure of ammo and barbiturates. Gotta have an exit plan!

I would say a thinking, shooting, driving, bloodthirsty society would be alot worse than zombies as well.

No need for backup...think NATURAL CONSEQUENCES!!! They want to laugh at you, poke fun, and say you're nuts...fine...let them fend for themselves when the SHTF. This is what I plan to do with non-immediate family. Have fun after the economy collapses, mother nature throws you a lethal curve ball, or some other SHTF happens!!
