2012, Is This Really The End?

a 100k! would be interesting if you had a 1000 clear beta C mags all filled with all of that ammo and laid out on a table for a picture....put a MOAB in there and a quote at the bottom-"Bring da Zombies!".

I do not believe the end of our world is coming this year but I think some kind of big change may happen which may include alot of people dying but hopefully not. I also believe that there could be a major change without as much harm being done like aliens coming down and showing us how to deal with our major problems like resources, and preservation, and religion(that would be the tricky one) and in return we could offer them some INFI and we could give them.......actually nothing else, that's all that will be needed to seal the deal I believe.

Man, skunk those were some awesome blades that you just sold on the fs forum. Are you going to have any sales like that in the near future??I have to keep my eye out-those went quick and I can see why.

So what will happen if nothing happens then? Will the economy
Start booming again? Will Jesus come back? Will gun, ammo, and (gasp) knife prices drop to the floor?

Well... 2012 could go like Y2K and every year since then  or it could contain that rainy day we should all be prepared for. ;) I'm ready either way and just taking one wonderful day at a time. :p Not saying I don't plan to get a few more guns and knives though. The next two non-INFI big purchases will probably be an FNP-45T and another 1911 which should pretty much complete my trigger finger collection... maybe one more .308 wouldn't hurt.

Skunk, I have some neon green and OD green kydex from Dave... have not heard of any light green yet but who knows, it may be out there.

1000 loaded beta C mags on one table??? That table better be made of INFI or the like to support it all and it better be way bigger than those XXXXXXL shirts skunk sells. Heck, 10 beta mags loaded with that stuff would be about all any guy could carry and would be plenty impressive enough to see.

Prices of useful commodities will only go down if the dollar gets some of it's former buying power back. Seeing as how it is only worth 5% of what it was ~100 years ago when the Fed started printing them, and it continues to get worse every year, I would say the chances of prices going down enough to celebrate are slim to none. Gas was $1.199/gal in Feb 2003 before the Iraq war started and a gallon of gas is still a gallon of gas yet costs 3-4 times as much in recent times. After losing 95% of it's original value, how much more can it go down before the dollar is absolutely dead? :( Those realities are slowly waking people up to the fact that the way things are can't last forever and some sort of big change is inevitable... which makes them nervous and unpredictable.

All we can really do is prepare to be ready for whatever/whenever and go with the flow for as long as it lasts, then adapt... ie, just live. Gotta love the human condition... my dogs, chickens and yaks sure don't over think things in order to worry about all these problems we humans create for ourselves, nor do any of the wildlife I see around here everyday. They just live until they die.

Best commercial EVER.

Guess I'd better start stocking up on the 5.56. I'd hate to not have any fun!

I know a couple guys who are REALLY serious about SHTF. And you need a lot less ammo than stores of clean drinking water, nonperishible food, and medications/first aid.

I don't think it will be so bad. They expect to sort out the God Particle (Standard Model Higgs boson) at Cern this year, and once they prove mass is not a requisite of existence but only an optional expression, surely this whole high-maintenance, short-life physical existence thing will go out of style in favor of low-maintenance immortality as pure energy.

Nuff said!
I like preppin' anyhow. The crowd is thinner and the lines shorter for now.;)

better to be called crazy and be ready, than follow the heard and be eaten when it all goes wrong! stock up on the water and rations... you can get enough ammo from your local store or neighbours if things go funny. it's not stealing if there's no economy!

It's nice to know i'm not the only one thinking about this stuff. Watch the dollar......closely.

Also, take caution in what you share on the big portal. Folks out there keep an eye on others "inventories".

What if INFI came from outerspace and Jerry did too! you never know, just sayin.

Heck, I am! I am ready to go live with Skunk where I can feel safe!
i agree, and i don't think we should share this with anybody. a persons inventory should be kept secret. but let me know when you get close so i can buy one of those new home defibrillators and some extra booze.
