Feel free to discuss the knife here. If someone is compelled to excessive complaining, take to W&C. That is what got the other thread locked.


The knife still happening, it has not been cancelled. Carry on.
 
I'm not sure what there is to discuss, but I wasn't watching the other thread. I'm looking forward to it, and thats about it. I can handle it not being FFG.

We knife kooks - me included - tend to get a little crazy about this stuff. But then there is a death in the family or a hurricane or a job loss, and all of a sudden our little hobby gets put back in perspective. But in between the storms, it sure if fun to think about, buy and play with our toys. I think the Powernoodle blue Skyline is going to be sweet, and will be one of the best limited edition knives we have seen in a long time. Maybe I'll ask Mr. Spark to let me come pick mine up in person when the time comes, so I'll be able to get my hands on it first.
 
I just wanted folks that were not aware to know that the knife will continue, Spark hasn't indicated the project was cancelled. Forward, and bring on the Blue Skyline in all its S30V goodness.
 
I'm done discussing the knife (and I think most are). I think we just want updates on the status since it went from end of 3rd quarter to beginning of November.

This would be nice, we are people... not numbers. However, I realize that Spark doesn't benefit from all this work, so i'm willing to be extremely patient & understanding.
 
Yep, most of us aren't painfully new to the world of knives. That is what happens when we as a collective demand specific timeframes. Stuff happens and things get pushed back, sometimes delays are inevitable. All we can do is roll with it.
 
Im just glad i have a place to look i have searched the term skyline at least once a day since the begining of november
 
I can't wait for them to arrive. It will definitely hold a special place in my collection. Thanks to all involved for making it possible.
 
I have tried not to think about the knife too much. I kind of like the thought of going to the mailbox one day and being surprised at seeing the box in there! It's all good. :cool:
 
I think it looks great! I had cancelled my order because of financial problems but am getting back on my feet and will pick up at least 1 asap. I love the color blue used. Great job Kershaw/Thomas/Spark!

And is that a serial number I see?
 
Ooooh! Even better than i imagined it i bought two, one to carry and one potential investment but i couldnt sell one of those they are PERFECT!!!
 
I had my woes about it not being ffg. But I'm over that now and back to being excited about getting a sweet LE kershaw.

Is that a picture of the real thing?

Yup, I think that is the knife prior to sharpening as per the previous/closed thread.
