2012 LE Bladeforums Skyline Discussion

having a hard time waiting much longer.......this will be my first skyline:-) Been waiting for the right one to get, I get the feeling I wont be disappointed. For once I'm gonna have a knife I might not want to pimp out!!
 
New member here (strike that i joined in '09 just took forever to post :p) and boy did I join (become active) at the right time or what! I'm also new to knife collecting. I have about a dozen or so kershaws. This will be my first skyline and first custom knife. Just because this is a batch of 500 remember these were a batch order of custom knives. Can't wait to here when they'll ship.

welcome AaronBern! this is going to be a pretty good one, i really like the orange one I have, can't wait to see the orange and blue together. :thumbup: Can't wait to get the package with 2 of these babies in it!

That is one awesome looking Skyline. It's going to look great with my 2 brown Skylines. Now I just need the orange, black and damascus Skylines now. :D

Good eyes. It does look like a serial number (#193). When you mentioned it I was thinking the original post said these wouldn't be serialized but I was getting it mixed up with the traditional forum knife. The original skyline post doesn't seem to mention serialization. I wonder if they will be sent based on the order timestamp (e.g. first order gets serial #1).

Well, I was on the fence, but finally broke down and ordered one. This will not only be my first forum knife, but my first skyline also. Now I have two knives from Kershaw/ZT to look forward too; this knife and the 777. Big thanks to all involved in making this a reality.

I don't want to go wade through the closed thread, does anyone know around how many are left to order? I've been on the fence, but she does look pretty sweet...
 
I'm sure looking forward to adding this (these) to my Skyline collection. The serialization is a cool touch.
