SOLD AND SHIPPED, thanks for your interest everyone.

Please use private messages for coms. Ask all questions before committing to buy please. I don't live on my computer so please allow time for me to respond.

I have a 2012 Microtech SOCOM Elite Carbon Fiber Tanto half-serrated in S35-VN.

It has been a user for nearly a decade for me and shows signs of use consistent with its age. If you are looking for a show piece, this isn't it. If you are looking for a solid user you aren't afraid of acutally using then keep reading. All my knives get used and rotated, this one has been awesome to own.

Condition and things to note:

Aweome knife, I don't like Tanto's nor Serrations but I had to own this after handling it... it is CLASSIC.
The carbon fiber is gorgeous, the pics don't do it justice.
Great lock up, no blade play and has that awesome Microtech TWHACK! Lock up has always been late on this one... maybe 70%?
Average wear and tear for normal useage. I don't abuse my knives, this has been used for cutting nothing more. Some worn spots/dings on the frame, see pics.
Pocket clip no longer holds tight against the frame... see pic. I don't have the tool to remove it and bend it to restore the tension. Still holds in my jeans no problem.
One side of the Tanto is ground ever so slightly "concave"... I tried to capture it in the pics. Doesn't affect anything but thought it was worth noting as it has always bugged me.

Great example of an older Microtech user, I have owned 1/2 dozen MT's over the years, this one won't disappoint. Just thinning the herd to add a few that have caught my eye.

I prefer PayPal friends and family with zero notes of any kind. All coms through the private message system here please.

$275 Shipped in the USA, no international shipping. Insurance is at the cost of the buyer. SOLD

Well centered... pic makes it look exaggerated. Not perfect but close.

Late-ish lockup but has always been like that.

Pic of the slight "concave" like a mini=plunge on the transition from the main bevel to the tanto bevel. You can just see it in the light.

Pocket clip, ever so slightly off the frame.
