2012, The End?

The Myan calander and the Bible code prof. say that the world will end on Dec. 21, 2012. there is some interesting info about it and i have researched this event for a while.

The Bible says something to the effect that the generation that sees the dead olive tree began to flower would see Christs return. The flowering was the resturation of Isreal. The generation was (IMHO) the generation that came of age in WWII (my parents) since they are in the 70's and up it should be soon.
It says that Isreal would be surrounded by the countries of the anitchrist (Islam) which it is. Then it would be overthrown for a 7.5 years then the last big war then the return of Christ. I believe it is Obama's role in history to pull American support away from Isreal at which time it will be invaded and the start of the count down.

Yeah, tell me about it. Countless folks in the world, with various prophets and assorted wisemen and clerics, believed the world would end around 100 AD. Then 666 AD. And then 1000 AD. And then 1666 AD. And then 2000 AD. And guess what? :D

The 2012 thing is interesting, but if I'm still around then, I would be willing to bet it won't be the end of the world. :thumbup: Most likely it was something about the way those primitive peoples handled mathematics that made the number 2012 so meaningful to them, like the number 1000 is to those who use arabian numerals and the decimal system.
 
It would probably make more sense to translate it as the end of an epoch, or era, or cycle; instead of the end of the world. The first day of the new cycle is the next day so party hardy.

What do you mean ... He is the Antichrist! ;) Satan himself could not pull this off better - Smooth talking, All Knowing, Zombie followers, will unite the world under him, one language, one money, one government .... sound familiar?;););)
 
Then I'm going to break a mirror on New Year's Eve 2011 so I can live for 7 more years of bad luck, hell it ain't killed me yet!
 
The end of the world is not going to happen in 2012. Trust me on this. I have inside info.
 
Since it will all be over in 2012, no reason to worry about that credit card bill:cool::cool:
 
If the world is set to end in a little over 4 years then why are we still paying taxes???

I should start living the the federal government and begin heavy deficit spending on critical items... like... booze and knives... and women!!!
