Up for sale are three of my collection that I just don't pay enough attention to. All three come with original packaging material (tubes/paper for GECs, brand new moc slip and baggie for Northwoods). All prices are shipped CONUS only. I only accept Paypal gift, or add 3.5% for goods.
Now to the knives. All three have been lightly used but not abused. Come sharp. All solid when open, no blade play.
Blade Forums 2013 Congress Jack- $SOLD
After a long and arduous wait, I received this knife and it didn't click with me. I did use it to cut an apple or two, and carried it in my pocket alone for maybe 4 days total. There is some patina on the main blade, but it could easily be Fritzed right off. The pen blade sits well, not impeding the main blade, but the pull is a touch weak on it, but not bad enough to be a problem. Backsprings flush in open and closed, a hair proud at half stop. The main blade's tip sits under the spacers when closed, no adjustments necessary there.
GEC 48* Trapper Cocobolo Serialized- $85
Yet another knife that doesn't get any pocket time. I purchased this like new from a member here, and carried it for probably a week, and used it for random chores around the kitchen. Heavy patina on the clip blade, not much of anything on the spey. There are some light "careless sharpener" scratches on both blades, but they disappear under a patina. The spey is ever so slightly off center when closed, but nowhere near the sides. There are some light scuffs on the bolsters from setting the knife on my desk at work. Great grain on this one, I just couldn't get it to really show up in the pictures. Springs are flush in open and closed positions.
Northwoods Forest Jack - $SPF
Smooth Calico bone. Knife has been sharpened and used lightly. Very solid pull on this one, but can still be pinched open. Not a nail breaker, but close. Patina on the blade, but not super heavy. Again some light scratches from sharpening.
I don't believe this knife has ever been carried outside of a pocket slip. Slight scuffing on the bolsters as is common, but no scratches. The only F&F comment I can make is the gap in the backspring and spacers at the butt end of the knife. I tried to show this in the pictures. Never bothered me, and in no way affects the pleasure derived from this one.
Please post I'll take it in the thread, and follow up by sending me an email at nathan.kellett@gmail.com BEFORE SENDING PAYMENT. First come first serve.
