Here's another update from GEC regarding cover material.

This is a comparison shot for the ivory micarta. The top and bottom knives are covered in the ivory micarta that will be on our knives. The 79 in the middle is covered in actual ivory:


Looks pretty good, I think.

That's stunning work, puts the last few years to shame. The use of colour is so subtle but yet so vibrant, I can't wait to see the finished article in cylindrical situ.
