I just ordered one of these.. How easily can the back swedge be sharpened? I will start it off with a worksharp but do not want to ruin the temper so ill have to take it pretty slow

I dont plan on doing the whole swedge, just enough to get a pretty good backcut.. How possible is that? Cant wait to get the knife in my hand so i can tell for myself.

After reading all your comments, I had to check it out. So glad I did. It seems to be a great knife. Well balanced, good weight, interesting blade shape. I really like the weight and blade thickness. It will be a really good large knife to carry afield, lighter than the 1/4" and 5/32" blades, yet still robust enough to do most anything. I did remove some of the rubber duckies, and like the way it looks and handles now. I may remove the Krayex handle and replace with a carbon steel guard and leather washers. Does anyone have a pic of the tang?
