I have the 2011 and 2012 knives, and couldn't be happier with them.

I am very glad to be the owner of the 2013 knife, and I appreciate all the work that went in to producing it. I answered the poll, "Got what I paid for . . . ", but unlike the last two years I feel like I got a little less than I paid for.

Here are my finish issues:
1. Shield not installed precisely.
2. Pen blade partially blocks the long pull.
3. Spring pins are ground oblong.
4. "Fluff" stuck between the liners.

That said I am perfectly happy with the annual Traditional knife process and will order again next year.

I wasn't even getting twitchy-thinking I won't get it till next year at this late stage.I had put the 2013 knife on the backburner.Oh well .. I was in the car doing a mission for the Mrs. down in Wollongong this morning when I saw him... sitting at the lights astride his motorbike like a hero of old. Cool and intrepid- his hi -vis safety jacket tearing at my eyes with the intensity of a sunrise on the planet Mercury. The jaunty angle of his helmet contrasting with the grim impenetrability of his sunglasses. His face a mask of dedication to his mission.
It is New Years Eve 2013.
The mail must get through.
The idle growl of the 200CC Honda stepthrough coughed into a throaty roar as the engine strained to move forward under the load of the panniers filled with belated Xmas presents and cards as well as normal day to day mail of both Business and Personal nature.
The merest ,almost imperceptible nod of his head as he made his turn into Market St acknowledging that I had given him right of way.
One good turn deserves another thought the giant snail as it slithered across the mountain of postal items at the Wollongong Mail centre in Auburn St. Its huge gelatinous tentacle eye detecting a small package from the USA destined for MT Keira. Yeerrsss here it is.Telepathic messages emitting to its human minions. This one mussst be delivered tooodaaaayy...

And so it was.
I'm really pleased with it.Far exceeding my expectations.
Thank You All and have a marvellous 2014.
cheers.

I like and have been carrying mine. That said I rated mine a three. Pen blade tip very thick, sanding marks in the micarta, liners with uneven spots at the scale in some areas. I'm happy that I got one, just wish it was finished better. But somebody needs to get the Saturday morning model!

The build quality of mine is as near perfection as I have ever seen in a production pocket knife. Far higher build quality than the Imperial, Schrade, and Camillus knives with which I grew up.

If it were in 440C, I would be even happier with it.

Alas, though rare, I did vote for stainless. It's a classy knife. I would like for it to stay looking "classy" but I'm going to let the patina show.

Kimsalls, wow. That is a little off.
