All KITH knives have now been received - good job guys!

Post your "Woo-Hoo" my KITH Knife arrived on this thread. You can also keep track of the status of the knives with the info below. If anyone has not received their recipient info yet, please email or PM me immediately.

The 2014 KITH closed at midnight last night.
Here is the KITH thread with the photos: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1236446-KITH-is-ended

I will keep the list of those in the KITH here, including the shipped and received notes as they happen:

I will post a "Woo-Hoo, my KITH knife arrived" thread in a few days for people to post about the knife they received and who sent it.

Those in the KITH will soon receive a shipping label by email.
Here is what the participants need to do - following these steps is important:

1) Pack the knife safely and securely and place in a shipping box. For most people the best choice is a USPS Priority box. Those RWB boxes get special attention. ( Non-US makers use what is normal for your country) Put a note in the box with all the knife info ( a certificate is nice) and your real name, email, and phone number. Tell him about the materials and/or making the knife if there is anything special to tell. Tell him about you if there is anything he might like to know.
2) Mail the knife to the recipient and insure it for whatever you think is right. $100 is good. For international shippers, mark the "GIFT" box on the customs forms, and list the value as you deem it ( $50-100). Insure if that is an option.
3) Mail the knife with a tracking number. (tracking availability for international parcels may vary)
4) Email me when you have mailed the knife and send me the tracking number.
5) When you receive your KITH knife, post in the "Woo-Hoo" thread and put photos if you wish. Tell us what you like about it. Also, email or call the maker with a "Thank You".
6) When you receive your knife, email me that is has arrived.

Woohoo, my KITH knife has arrived. Barry Clodfelter dropped by my house yesterday and gave me his KITH knife. 1084 with maple handle hunter and I like it a lot. Thanks Barry. I should have invited you into the shop but I was too embarrassed about the mess in there. it really needs a good cleaning. :)

Funny that it worked out that way......personal delivery.

The assignment was done by a random generator with 1-13 randomized and matched to the participant straight list of 1-13. All I checked was that no one got their own number. Two people were matched with each other ( A to B and B to A)... a 1 in 144 chance.

Woo-Hoo my knife from Mitchell ( Shaw Blades) came today.

Really nice. Even nicer in the hand than in the photo. I'll try and shoot some photos soon.

Thank you for this great KITH gift.

Received my knife from Stacy, very pleased. This was actually 1 of the ones I was hoping to get. Very practical little slicer/utility blade. Thanks! Looking forward to future KITHs.

Woohoo! I received my KITH knife today from Gary. With respect to everyone else, if I had gotten to choose a knife, Gary's folder would have been my first choice. Thank you for the awesome knife Gary!

Nice. That slipjoint definitely raised the bar.

Got mine yesterday from Leif! Thanks Bro for an outstanding knife. It was rainy so I only got pics on the kitchen table. Hopefully I will get to skin a deer with it before the season is over.

Way cool. I got my knife from Sam. I'm really happy that this is the knife that I got! I've got a hunting trip scheduled for this weekend. Hope I can get some pics of it in action.

Sam, I can't wait to skin a deer or hog with this baby. Bet the rest of you guys didn't realize that the maker is only 17 yrs old. Keep up the good work Sam, it looks like you have a knack for this stuff.

Thanks Again and Merry Christmas.

P1030335.jpgWOOHOO! My KITH knife arrived today from Shane Alexander, (shane_o_ca). It is a nicely made paring knife and saya. Beautiful in its simplicity, I am proud to have received it. Thanks Shane

Got mine from Chris (Salolan) today!
Thanks man, it's a very nice knife and I'll be carrying it with me while I finish out this hunting season! Hopefully it'll be put to work soon.
Nice job on the tapered tang and very nice neutral balance. And seriously clean tooling on the sheath. Nice work!
Thanks again and Merry Christmas.

Thank you Leif. It had me a bit concerned. It was supposed to be there Monday and didn't show until Friday. If you get the chance sometime, I would like to visit with you a bit via phone or email.

Good luck on the hunt!
Chris
