Finally took a few photos of the knife I received from Gary and thought I would post them.
The knife is slightly larger than I had perceived from his "I'm ready" photos. It is 4 1/2" long closed and 8" long open. Gorgeous knife and slip joints are something I am really interested in doing in the very near future. Now I have a piece to aspire to.

I received my knife from Steve (Glassguy.) Very nice. The maple is outstanding, the finish work is excellent. I really like it. It's quite different stylistically from what I make, and it's nice to see a different take on a hunter from what I am used to doing. Thank you! It will be a treasured part of my collection. I'll add pictures soon. I'm under the weather tonight.

A little late but I had computer troubles and couldn't post it until now. My knife from Willie71 came and it's amazing! I'm very happy with, it works great in the kitchen. Thanks a bunch Willie, this will get great use.

Whoo-hoo, it feels good in hand, looks sleek, good and has a sexy clip point!
The maker told me it is only his 5th knife, but it is well made and could have been somebody's 50th!
It came with a well made sheath that holds her firmly.

Coming spring I'll be clearing and chopping in the garden here!

It was my 3rd KITH. I enjoyed it and want to say thank you to everybody who was in. Looking at all the beautiful and different knives and wondering wich one would end up over here put a big smile on my face.

The only knife still out is Hengelo's ( Bart Raven). It probably got delayed by Canada Post as they switched from mule wagons to dog sleds for the delivery routes in British Columbia.

Cross border shipping can be pretty slow, especially around Christmas. 3 to 4 weeks isn't unheard of. It's customs that usually causes the holdup.
 
I was hoping it would be there before Christmass. (still one day left)
I hope you'll find the knife worth the wait.

What city is it being processed in? If it's in Richmond BC it might just get here in time. I'm really looking forward to it. The scales look great in the photos.
 
Didn't make it for Christmass. I know I have no influence on it but I still feel bad about it.

It doesn't show the city. It looks like it stayed put for about two weeks in Germany before it flew over.

I just picked up the knife from the post office. Boy was it worth the wait! It fits in my hand perfectly, and is sharper than any other knife I own.

Thank you Bart for the wonderful gift. I will put it to good use on my hunting and camping trips. This will be my go to knife.
