  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

2015 Catalog Released!

Sorry, but a bit boring this year. Nothing that caught my eye that I said I have to have.

It was the same thing in November 2013 with many who saw the 2014 catalog. However, Spyderco then released a bunch of great new ones at the Amsterdam meet in March 2014: Slysz Bowie, K2, Lil LionSpy, Worker, Tatanka, Roc, chubby, Rubicon, PITS, etc.

My prayers have been answered......I am a saltwater fisherman and I am finally going to have a PE Aqua Salt on my boat in 2015.I don't know why they are coating the blade, but its still going to make a fine saltwater boat knife.

Exactly what I'm hoping!

Losing the VG10 Caly 3 and 3.5 kinda hurts. I love the pocketability of these guys...

I have swayed back and forth on ZDP (edge-holding) vs VG10 (ease of sharpening) and have been at the 'ease of sharpening' end of things for a while now.

I guess I can still pick up spares but I'm not seeing a bunch of similar alternatives - I would gladly welcome other considerations (but I have to say, I haven't been getting on with CTS XHP so the Chaparral kinda bumps off my list)...

I'm digging the foundry, but for the price Im severely disappointed that it's in SS and not Ti, regardless of the idea behind it.

The design is really nice. Id like to see some other versions in the future
