2015 Miami International Knife Show • MORE PHOTOS included!

Thank’s Jim for showing us your work this post truly shows where custom knife making is today I am inspired

Coop & Mods I hope you will not have a issue with me posting this info on your thread

Mr. White,

The new W.F. Moran book will have 271 pages. A limited leather bound copy & regular copy will be available.

Francesco Pachi is the photographer and Steve Shackleford writer. Sorry I could not export any photos, however the book is special and it will appeal to anyone who loves custom knives and especially Moran knives. If you have looked at the recent book about Mr. James Schmidt it is a similar format.

Jim, thanks so much for sharing these pics with those of us who couldn't be there (I really wanted to be there!). Lots of terrific knives, but those three by Steigerwalt really ring by bell.

Lorien, Gary, Steve, Don, Kevin, Dave: Thank you.

Hi Ken! Yes, you always have a keen eye, and Kenny's knives are as good as they get. (And at a price that surprises many!)

I mentioned I had a few to finish. These were NOT easy projects, so I delayed them till last.

Julie Lake is a VERY talented artist and jewelry/metalworker. Yes, she is Ron Lake's daughter, and she probably grew up brushing metal chips off her clothes. As she should.

That has a little LinerLock® to lock it open AND closed. Wouldn't this make a fantastic Mother's Day gift? You know you like it. :D

We actually had some laughs and a bit of fun doing (on my suggestion) a hand modeling of her curious and engaging 'Ring Blade'. The hand shot was the best of many.

Daniel Watson has been a consistent client of mine at the NY shows. Shooting swords is an art and a chore in itself.

There are many methods, and for me the digital background method looks great, yet takes a LONG time; both in the shooting AND the editing. However, I had the time and made it happen.

(I am going to post these up in my Gallery, along with the bare shots, and an explanation of the process. Look for them up there soon, if you are curious.)

I've finished every edit, every image sent, and every print as been mailed. Onward to my mounting projects which await.

Thanks for viewing!

Jim

Great pics Coop, thanks for the effort!

Though it does seem peculiar that there appears to be one 'non-indexed' screw on this beautiful piece!
