Definitely Positron and Mamba!

an all-black Manix 2 Lightweight -- ABSO-FRAKKIN-LUTELY!!!

Bradley 2 -- Have to seriously ponder it (I've only just started on Spydies!!), but very likely. Right now a GB could go after the PM2's on my Wish List.

Raven 2 or Crow 2 -- Decisions, Decisions . . .

the TI Meadowlark 2 -- tempting (just got a G-10 Cara Cara 2, so I'm more likely to get the smaller blade, but even the Ti Cara Cara 2 is ponderable)

Even the Robin 2 Stainless Black looks to be sweet!

Anyone else have nightmares about being strangled by their wallet? ;)

IMHO, the GB is one of the best knives in Spyderco's lineup. It is built like a tank and the steel is great! YMMV, but I would get the GB before a lot of other Spyderco's.

To put it another way, I have owned a bunch of Spyerco's. I still own my Manix 2 CruWear, Manix 2 s110v, Delica and GB. I will never sell any of those knives, and the GB is my favorite. I will get a GB 2 as soon as it comes out.

The Mamba looks incredible; everything I was hoping for. It's not going to be cheap though. Retail pricing on the Slysz Bowie and Rubicon is $499.99 each, ending up around 280$ USD. The MSRP on the Brend/Pirela Mamba is listed as $539.95 in the pricing guide, which is the highest I've seen yet; it'll definitely be over $300 USD. I think it's worth it. The sculpted CF and titanium liners, along with the two-tone blade, put it in close proximity with a lot of the midtechs out there. The Tighe Stick is listed as $479.95, Myrtle is less than I thought, $359.95. The Positron is listed with an MSRP of $279.95, which should mean it'll be under 200$. It sucks the Nirvana isn't going to be released in the near future, though.

KW shows the Mamba is per-orderablefor those looking for them!

KnifeWorks will be selling the Mamba for $290.67 which is about 46% off the $539.95 MSRP. That's a good price for a heck of a flipper.

The highest MSRP I've seen thus far is for Chaparral Stepped Titanium at $564.95. Very intricate, expensive and time-consuming milling.

I think the Nirvana may become the most expensive of all!

:) That's great to hear! I was thinking $320. And I forgot about the Chaparral... $565 is high, but yeah, the Nirvana might be up around $599.95 MSRP (that's my official guess).

Spyderco seem to have a bit more flex between MSRP's and the minimum retailers are allowed to sell for, or can still sell for and make a profit. I recall reading on BF recently that someone purchased a few of those Stepped Titanium Chaparrals for something like 20$ each, <4% the MSRP. That's a hell of a deal. It was actually a pricing error, of course, but a number of the orders went through before they could cancel them.

I am excited for the Myrtle, Positron, Bradley 2, and the Hap40 Sprints. Going to be an expensive year :D.

Bradley, 2, Bradley 2, Bradley 2. Positron. Delica HAP40. I'd love to check out the Mamba but I doubt I'd keep it even if I have to buy one to satisfy my curiosity. It's a work of art but I can't imagine using it.

The Mamba is a knife that belongs in my pocket. Seriously sexy lines and I would take it into the woods with me without hesitation.

And I can't wait for the Nirvana either.

This is going to be one of the toughest years since I sold off most of my collection in 2012. Spyderco is firing strong on all cylinders. Love the designs and materials here.

Hope to get the paper version of the catalog soon!

Also, I kind of prefer the Ion name. Wonder why they changed it?

I believe I read there were some issues with a company already using that name for a model.
